Q. Will I die?

A. No, barre is for everyone! Our workouts are all about practice, not perfection. Our instructors offer modifications and advancements throughout our method to make an effective workout attainable for everyBODY. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to your first class!

Q. What do I wear?

A. Whatever you are comfortable in to move, bend and stretch! Leggings are a great option. All Barre District studios require that you wear socks, and we recommend that you drink water throughout your workout (also available in studio).

Q. Do I have to buy the socks?

A. No! Feel free to bring your own. We have specialized grip socks available for purchase, however it is not required that you do so.

Q. Do I have to have ballet or dance experience?

A. Absolutely not! We utilize the ballet barre in every class, however, instructors guide you through movements and stretches in a class setting to upbeat music.
