Barre District is located in Madison in the heart of the isthmus just minutes from the Capital.

We are a small, independent woman-owned and operated barre studio. Our community focused environment welcomes people of all sizes, ages and walks of life.

Class offerings

Barre

Barre is a hybrid fitness routine that utilizes movements and positions from dance, pilates, yoga and functional strength training with a focus on optimal alignment and posture to improve balance, coordination, stability, strength, and overall function.

Barre Interval

Barre Interval is a 30-minute core and lower body sculpting workout. A little faster pace than our traditional barre class to get your heart pumping and build strength and muscular endurance.

Barre Fight

Barre Fight is a barre and cardio conditioning inspired Tabata workout. It is a HIIT class that starts with an intense heat up, then progresses to full body Tabata sets, and ends with a short cool down and stretch. This higher impact cardio conditioning class will get your heart pumping and burn calories.
