Barre Instructor

SaraH tried her first barre class in the summer of 2015 on the recommendation of a couple of friends. She had tried plenty of other workout classes in addition to simple cardio and weight training, but it always felt like a chore. After just one barre class, she was in love. Very very sore, but she had finally found her exercise soulmate. A couple months after trying her first class, SaraH got engaged and decided to really get her butt in gear to get ready for the wedding and ended up losing more than a few pounds, but what she was most excited about was what she gained. The sense of community at Barre District made it feel more like hanging out with your besties than taking a workout class (although the leg shakes definitely brought you back to reality).

Fast forward a few years... one divorce and a handful of other life crises later... Barre is still the one constant in SaraH's life. (Besides her rescue pup, Bentley, the real love of her life.) After MUCH persuasion, SaraH finally agreed to become an instructor and taught her first class in March of 2018. Becoming an instructor has transformed SaraH's life in ways she never imagined. She's gained both confidence and humility, and most importantly, a community of strong, incredible women who challenge her to be the best version of herself every day (and to come up with new choreo that makes people want to swear ;) ).

When SaraH is not in the studio, you can probably find her somewhere near the lake with her furever best friend, Bentley. But don't worry, she'll still be wearing barre clothes. SaraH also enjoys cooking, trying every IPA known to (wo)man, celebrating "Champagne Thursday," adding to her (faux) fur collection, and being unapologetically herself.
