Barre Instructor

“Hi everyone! My name is Megan, and I've been teaching at Barre District Oak Creek for several years and love every minute of it️!”

Before she was introduced to barre, she was a running addict totaling 40-60 miles a week, running marathons and ultramarathons. She started taking barre after a knee injury, trying to find a form of exercise to keep her in shape.

She remembers her first barre class and seeing only 2lb and 3lb weights. She thought this would be the easiest class, and she would leave disappointed without even getting a workout.  She had to drop the weights about a minute into the arm part of class and realized she was where she belonged.  How could she not hold 3lb weights??!!!

She thought she reached her greatest physical accomplishment running a 50 mile ultramarathon, but she quickly learned her body had the ability to accomplish so much more without spending 16 hours a week running.

After taking barre classes for about a year, she became an instructor, allowing her to share her love and passion with others. She loves creating new and innovative routines that target every muscle, leaving everyone feeling sore, accomplished, and ready to come back for more!
